Tees
Golf tees provide a swinging advantage, especially in long or drive shots. Using them are normally allowed only on the first shot for each hole. However, local or seasonal rules may allow or require teeing for other shots such as in the winter to protect the turf when it is vulnerable. There are two kinds of tees, those made of wood and those made of plastic. Wooden golf tees are fairly durable but penetrable by water, making them wear or break easily, while plastic golf tees are more durable because they are waterproof. They can be left on the ground for days without them breaking down. Plastic tees are also very affordable and are sold in bulk.
