Fairway Woods
Although modern fairway woods are now made of metal, these clubs are called "woods" because the clubheads were once made out of wood. A typical golfer's bag usually includes one or two fairway woods, most commonly a 3-wood and/or 5-wood made of steel or titanium alloy. Today's fairway woods have become longer, bigger and more powerful than ever. With more lofts, shafts and headsizes to choose from, finding the perfect fairway wood has become a little more trickier for beginners and entails more experience in playing the sport.
