Cougar Golf was first founded in California, USA in 1973 by Roger Dunn who was also the founder of the Nevada Bobs retail chain in the US. Cougar Golf were one of the first golf companies to start pushing the boundaries of golf club technology. In 1988 due to the high demand for custom made sets Cougar USA was receiving from Australia, they decided that they should set-up a club manufacturing base in Australia. Cougar Golf Australia have been manufacturing clubs in Australia ever since and in the past 2 decades have made over 100,000 custom sets of clubs. Cougar Golf is one of the main golf manufacturers whose products include full golf sets such as Cougar Power Cat Full Set, Cougar Ti Cat Full Set and Cougar X-Cat Tour Full Set.
